Alright, nothing?s confirmed, but news that Alexa Chung and Pharell Williams stuck very close to each others? sides at Pharell?s book launch has made us go a little bit giddy with excitement.
According to NY Post, the two 'looked quite cosy together' at the party to celebrate the launch of Places and Spaces I?ve Been, Pharrell?s book that takes a look back at his career in the music industry and crossovers to fashion, art and design. The party took place at the Arlington Club, a new swanky steakhouse on the Upper East Side that hasn't even opened to the public yet. It included a four course meal cooked by super-chef Laurent Tourondel.
It?s not the first time Alexa and Pharrell have been linked - they shared a front row seat at Proenza Schouler?s show during New York Fashion Week just two months ago. If the two ARE getting involved then it?s a big change from Alexa?s past boyfriends, right? A quick review of her past beaus shows she has more than a slight penchant for boys in bands.
After four years with Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Chungers has since been linked to rockers Albert Hammond Jr. (the former Mr. Agyness Deyn and guitarist of The Strokes) as well as Theo Hutchcraft, the devastatingly handsome frontman of the band, Hurts.
So does cosying up to Pharell signal that Alexa might be looking for a change of scene? More importantly, what the devil will we call them? Al-Pha? Pha-xa? The mind boggles.
