What Baby Ava wants, Baby Ava shall have.
That's the usual Auntie motto, right?
Well, Baby Ava isn't quite here yet, but her momma, my sister, wanted a painting of a song our Grandma used to sing to us. I happened to have some spare canvases laying around so I set out to trying my hand at another painting.
I had the saying, but wanted it to be more than words. ?
When I miss my mom I talk to the moon. ?I wanted to work a moon into the paitning. ?LaDonna, my dad's wife, gave Ava a cute quilt with an owl on it for Christmas so I knew I wanted to add owls in somehow as well. ?
Here's what I came up with.

We had a funny moment with Grant this weekend.
After his hair cut I was helping him into his car seat. ?
I noticed he had a pink square in his hands that he'd picked up from the floor of his mom's car. ?Then he unwrapped that pink square and the laughter began.
You see, Grant had found himself some "stickers!"
You are seeing that correctly.
He had unwrapped a panty liner!
Sis learned a valuable lesson...it's time to clean out her damned car!
